There is definitely a reason that Cole’s has the reputation that they do among those that shoot. My son was having gun fit issues from having outgrown the shotgun he had been using to compete with in shotgun sports for the past year and a half. I took him to Cole’s where we dealt with Pedro over the course of multiple visits. I can’t say that we were the easiest customers to ever deal with, but Pedro was incredibly patient with my son and I, showing us the different options and what would work best for competing in shotgun sports for my 11 year old son, as he is on the short side, but also still growing. My son finally decided on a Beretta A400 Cole Pro semi-auto shotgun with a TSK stock, and he couldn’t be happier with it. The gun fits him perfectly now and Pedro made sure the gun fit him exactly as it should before we left Cole’s so that he wouldn’t have any issues with that once he started shooting it. They also made sure the wood finish matched before sending it out to us, showing a nice attention to detail. My son loves his new gun and has had zero issues with it since we received it. Pedro also patiently explained everything we need to know about the TSK stock as my son grows. I would highly recommend Cole’s. They gave us an honest opinion and helped my son find what would work best for him. I never felt rushed or pressured and we’ve been extremely satisfied during the process of finding and buying a gun and with the gun itself since we’ve gotten it.

“Absolutely everyone in this organization has been amazing. Jodi has answered all of my questions and been VERY patient. Samantha was very prompt on making sure my work order was correct after I had problems submitting as a “warranty”. There was a problem with my original shipping label but Andrew addressed this and had a new label within minutes after noticing this issue. Casey called and explained the expectations to the modifications I was looking at and assured me my shotgun was in spec to manufacturer specs. Shipping wise, the guns return home was packaged much better than the way I sent it in and better than the two times I received from my local FFL. 

Unfortunately I’m only a small fraction of a percentage for Cole’s revenue; however, you have all gained a new customer and referral when I do have a need. Looking inside from the outside, you’re a well oiled machine. I hope you don’t lose track of that as it seems a lost art today.”

From the original call detailing the problem (a cracked adjustable comb), to working through options to address problem, Jodi was knowledgeable and proactive.  Despite being short handed with staff, I received regular emails, photos and phone calls to update the repair status. The only analog I can apply is it was similar to USAA, which has been an example of member service excellence for many decades.

While not a member of the sales team, Jodi has made me a Cole fan for life. The definition of customer service is the relationship between service performance expectations and actual experience.
