Please follow the instructions below to streamline your service experience with us.
Shotgun Repair Process
- Review Recommended Packing Instructions
Before proceeding, please ensure you review our Recommended Packing Instructions to properly prepare your shotgun for shipping. - Complete the Work Order Request
After reviewing the packing instructions, fill out the Work Order Request form in its entirety. This ensures we have all the necessary details to process your repair. - Shipping Your Gun
- If you are shipping your gun directly:
Select the appropriate checkbox on the Work Order Request form, and our staff will follow up via email with your UPS label. - If an FFL is shipping your gun:
Follow their respective instructions for shipping.
Note: If you do not receive your UPS label within 24 hours of submitting the Work Order, please contact your selected service location via phone or email.
- If you are shipping your gun directly:
- Work Order Confirmation
Upon completing the Gunsmithing Work Order Request form, you will receive an email confirmation with your work order details. If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your spam or junk email folders.
Beretta Warranty Process
- Submit a Firearm Support Request with Beretta
Start by completing a Firearm Support Request directly with Beretta. Follow the instructions they provide. - Cole Fine Guns & Gunsmithing Work Order
If Beretta instructs you to send your shotgun to a Cole Fine Guns & Gunsmithing location, return to this page and complete the Work Order Form. Submit your work order to the designated location. - Packaging and Shipping
Carefully package your shotgun and send it to the specified Cole location. Be sure to include a copy of your work order and any relevant documentation received from Beretta USA. - Inspection and Follow-Up
Once we receive and inspect your shotgun, we will contact you within 24-48 business hours with an estimated timeline for your modifications or repairs. For base pricing, please refer to our Gunsmithing Price List.

Services and Locations

Both Maine and Florida:
Most services, including refinishing, adjustable combs, stock modifications, Beretta 686/690 series service, barrel fittings, all Beretta DT service, Perazzi service, and wood set fittings, are available at either location. -
Florida Only:
Services for ASE and SO Models, custom stock making, laser checkering, and laser etching are available exclusively in Florida. -
Maine Only:
All semi-auto service and hot bluing are offered exclusively in Maine.
Note: When in doubt, please call or email before completing the request form or shipping your gun. Sending it to the incorrect facility may cause delays and incur additional shipping charges.

Do I need to send any paperwork with my firearm?
Please ensure you are sending a copy of your valid drivers license with your firearm.
What gunsmithing services do you provide
We specialize in the service of certain Italian shotguns. If you do not see the service you require listed, there is a possibility that we don’t provide that service. When in doubt, please call or email prior to shipping.
Do your service handguns or rifles?
Cole Gunsmithing currently services shotguns only. We do not service handguns or rifles of any make.
